Recently, I got the opportunity to test out a Mercury Mile box and oh my goodness I am obsessed! Legit, this is is probably one of my favorite things I’ve gotten to test to date.
What is Mercury Mile?
Mercury Mile is a personal shopping service for runners (similar to Stitch Fix or Trunk Club). However, it’s even better because it’s not a subscription. This was a huge plus because adding another monthly payment on top of my bills is very daunting. Plus then I can get a new box when I actually NEED new items, not just because it’s the fifth (or any other date) of the month.
How does it work?
Super simple. Create a runner profile – it will ask you all sorts of questions from your sizing to your preferences to what you actually want more of. Make a mistake? You can always go back and update things. Then reserve your box and you’ll receive it within 2 – 4 days of your selected delivery date. I was so impressed by the delivery speed – I filled out my runner profile on a Thursday and set the delivery date for the following Monday. I was expecting it to come near the end of the week but when I got home after work on Monday, it was there waiting on my doorstep!
What did I get?
I felt like this box was perfectly tailored to me. It was simple with fun touches and functional yet stylish. I literally could not have been happier with my picks!
- Goodr Sunglasses in 10 Ways to Kill a Peep
- Adidas Supernova Tank
- New Balance Ice 2.0 Mesh Tank
- Body Glove NYX Capris
- Asics D1 Shorts
- Samples of GU and SweatxSport
Okay maybe that was a tiny fib – I loved the sunglasses but the color was just not for me. So I had the opportunity to either return or exchange them. Mercury Mile makes either option extremely easy – they include a pre-paid bag to ship your items back in within 7 days (this is longer than I saw on similar sites – another win!). So I wrote my stylist a note and asked for either a pink or purple pair of glasses and they arrived in the mail just days later! Great customer service is something that can really elevate a company so I 110% appreciate Mercury Mile for that.
FINALLY able to ditch the long sleeves and wear my @goodr “Carl’s single and ready to flamingle” sunglasses I received in my @mercurymile box! 💕 Mercury Mile was so great to work with – they originally sent me yellow sunglasses which were not my color 🙅🏼♀️ and happily obliged when I asked for pink or purple (trying to branch out from my love of black) and then they came with flamingos on them!!! 💁🏼♀️ Only slightly disappointed there isn’t a flamingo emoji for me to use 18 times in this caption 🦄 #constantlyontherun #mercurymilebr #bibchat #bibravepro #mwpro #marathontraining #chirunblog #runchi #mercurymilemoments #runinstyle
How much does it cost?
The most important question – each box reservation is $20 for the stylist fee. Everything that comes in your box will total between $125 – $250 (but shipping and returns are free!). Each item will range from $15 to $150 each, so there’s something for everyone’s budget. But if you’re a little cost conscious *cough hi me cough*, leave a note in your runner profile and your stylist will make your picks based on this! Keep $20+ worth of items from your box and they’ll apply your $20 stylist fee to that purchase #YAS
