You’ve seen them all over my Instagram and Twitter, now it’s time to tell you why the Health Warrior Chia Bars are my new thing.

Since starting my #RoadToBoston journey, I’ve been more conscious of what I’m putting into my body – that’s why I’m so thrilled about these Health Warrior Chia Bars. Made with all real ingredients, the main component is chia. Chia is one of the top superfoods, meaning it has substantial health benefits. Ounce for ounce, chia has more protein than an egg, more omega 3s than salmon, more fiber than flax, more calcium than milk, and more magnesium than broccoli. I told you, superfood.

With all of these nutrients, you’re able to stay fuller, longer – something I have always struggled with when trying to find the right protein or snack bar. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first, thinking there was no way this tiny 1×2 bar would keep me full but the chia showed me up and proved me wrong. This also has a lot to do with the fact that chia seeds absorb up to 10x their weight in water – I know you know what I’m talking about when they get stuck all up in your teeth (or retainer or wisdom teeth holes – yeah that’s SUPER fun). And while that was a huge downfall for these bars, know that going into the day and put some floss in your purse or gym bag to nip that issue in the butt (or is it bud? I never know with that phrase, whatever) right away.

However, the taste makes it all worth it. I had the chance to sample the chocolate peanut butter and the vanilla almond. I think the vanilla is my favorite but the chocolate peanut butter was TDF, as well. Not too overpowering but also enough to end that chocolate craving (because we know I have that on the reg). There are a variety of flavors, such as apple cinnamon and dark chocolate cherry ($15.99 for 15 bars), but they are always coming out with new ones. They also have some great variety packs if you want multiples or to switch it up on a daily basis.

So chia bars aren’t your thing, that’s okay, Health Warrior also has protein and pumpkin seed bars. The next on my list to try are cinnamon spice pumpkin seed bars ($14.99 for 12 bars) and the mint chocolate protein bars ($17.99 for 12 bars). With free shipping over $25, it’s easy to get a few different flavors but also not spend a fortune.

If you’re still not sold, consider trying a sample. For $4.99, you can try any 3 bars you want. This way you can find the exact flavors you love and then buy the box. And if you happen to not like it, you only lost $5, but I’d be shocked if you didn’t.
