First things first (I’m the realest), for those of you who don’t know or didn’t read my Instagram posts very carefully, the 5K Crate is a quarterly subscription box that curates premium apparel and accessories for runners of all types and fitness levels. Each box is carefully hand curated to include 5-6 items that you will use over and over again, which is a pretty great deal, if I do say so myself.
Upon first look, the $59.99 price tag may scare some of you off but let’s just go through all the stuff this first one came with:
La Fresh travel sunscreen wipes, 3 @ $1 each
Epic Wipes massive wet wipes, 2 @ $2.50 each
Zensah no show compression socks, $19.99
Mission Athlete vaporactive cooling towel, $19.99
Mission Athlete alpha running shirt $34.99
Spigen World wireless Bluetooth headphones, $45
That’s $128 worth of product for only $60! I mean how many times do you walk into lululemon or Nike, buy one thing and spend more than that? Hint, every single time. Therefore, spending $60, 4 times a year seems worth it when you get the opportunity to test multiple different products instead of just one. Which is honestly my favorite part of the whole thing – I never would have tried out these socks or bought a cooling towel (which actually works BTWs. Yep, I’m mind blown too), yet 5K Crate thought it was cool enough to include and after trying it out, I had to agree! It’s opening my mind up to new products and making me a loyal customer of new brands, something that I’m all for.
So yes, give 5K Crate a try, it’s definitely worth the investment, even if you only do it for one quarter.
